I doubt most cameras of today will be in working order 10 years from now, regardless of whether or not they are technologically obsolete. Anything with a circuit board is likely to fail before 10 years. This is one reason why I am concerned about AF-S and VR in lenses as they will shorten the serviceable life of the lens, whereas the old screwdriven lenses should last 100 years at least if well maintained and properly lubricated on occasion.
