Besides having many screws loose mentally, my Tokina 300 F2.8 has loose screws that hold the lens mount in place. No biggy, I just tighten after every outing, but has anyone ever used loc-tite or something similar to hold the screws in place? Maybe a dab of glue of some kind? Thanks for your ideas in advance...

I would use Loctite Red in this application.

I would use BLUE instead. Heat has to be applied to get RED to be able to get the screws out. I've used most of the Loc-Tite products in manufacturing.

The voice of experience. I'd never use red on something that I might ever want to unscrew. I used blue all over my motorcycle and it never failed. Before Loctite, stuff always fell off my bikes.
