I agree.  Maybe Sony will pull it off.  I would love a 75 or 90 on a second RX1 to carry around with the 35 but it will come down to size with the longer lens.  Image stabliization would be a benefit for slower speeds with the longer lens.  Even a zoom may work.  The zoom lens on my RX100 is really nice and the distortion that is corrected through raw conversion or in camera in jpegs is impressive.  We are cleary entering the age where software corrections are dramatically improving the quality to what could only be found in a lens with much better optics just a few years ago.  It still has a way to go but software correction may one day level the playing field for a wide range of lens designs.
