Photography is an art form, and as such is utterly subjective.  Who are you to say which photographs are better than others?  In your fantasy world do musicians have licenses, too?  Who approves their portfolios?  What's the standard that determines quality?  How about authors?  Do I need a license to write?  Must I submit my manuscripts to a regulatory agency for quality approval?

What a stupid argument.  Photography will never require a license, and it shouldn't, either.  Because it doesn't make sense on any level and it is completely horrific that supposedly normal, unmedicated people cannot see that.
