Any way to "lock" manual exposure?
2

Okay, "lock" is probably not the best word to use, but I can't think of a better one (suggestions?).  What I mean is if you set the exposure in manual mode to 1/1000 at f5.6, if I change to f8, then the camera would change the shutter speed to 1/500.  This would result in the same exposure.

The reason I'd like this is often I know what exposure to set, but then when I change the f-stop for greater or less DOF, it would be very convenient if I didn't have to change the shutter speed myself to maintain the same exposure (not to mention saving time and avoiding a potential mistake in resetting the shutter speed).
