UK photog needs suggestion for simple desktop office printer

I need to say goodbye to my HP Photosmart 2575 printer.

Copying and scanning is tediously slow.

Printing from my PC is erratic as the machine seems to lose its USB link.

I have a stunningly good Epson 3880 for my photo work in my studio so, as long as my desktop device produces adequate colour prints my priority is towards reliability, economy and speed.

Most of my prints are of emails and other text - with the odd infrequent jpg when I can't be bothered to go to my studio.

Amazon UK produces a treasure trove of suggestions. Please help me pick a good one.
