Wireless printer quick question re IP addresses
18 hours ago
|
I am running 2 printers from my wireless router - actually they are connected to router with cat5 cables so not really full wireless - and wonder if there is a way to assign them an IP that will not change every time the power flickers or goes off.
Living on east coast of FL, this happens a lot this time of year, and it is a hassle having to rediscover the settings each time, doubly so because I then have to remember to fix wifes..and daughters...and sons...and other one....
I use cable internet and cannot get a static IP for service (w/o paying bundle) but wonder if it can be done for wireless peripherals....
Was not sure how to word this to search google...."make my printer work' seemed to be too broad
