Stand-mounting/hand held reflector
Jun 4, 2013

Which reflector solutions are out there which allows me to:

1) hold it myself (the photographer)

and

2) mount it on a suitable stand

I've been looking at Lastolite's Triflip 8 in 1 (http://www.lastolite.com/triflips.php) which seems easier for me the photographer to hand-hold than a regular round reflector, but haven't quite found a good way to mount it on a stand whenever I need to do that.

Various online discussions suggest using a Manfrotto Super clamp or Nano clamp, but I'm not sure if anyone got that working.

Someone else suggested I look into the Aurora Lite panel (http://www.alb.co.kr/eng/product/new_List.aspx?idx=68) which mounts on the supplied stand with a ball-head.

But I'm not familiar with the brand nor the quality and although it seems nice it would also mean buying an additional reflector in case I also want an assistant to be able to hold it (quicker to reposition than adjusting the stand's ball-head mount.

So I'd like to know if there are any good mounting solutions on a stand for the Lastolite, and if anyone has any experience with the Aurora?
