Lower Antelope Canyon Abstracts - GH3/7-14

This Navajo Nation slot canyon is near Page, AZ at Glen Canyon Dam, and about 1/4 mile long with the top opening being no more than a slit in places, the bottom 50 or so feet down.

I took the 2 hr unaccompanied "photographer" tour ($46) at twice the price of the shorter guided herd tour, and was able to find tripod setup space or firm body support pretty easily for the longish exposures - all at ISO 200. I took the 25/1.4 but didn't use it. A fisheye would have been very interesting, though! The only flare experienced with the 7-14 was shooting directly into light in #4, but I don't think it detracts here.

RAW/PS6, with liberal exercise of "artistic license", particularly with color temp - shot at daylight 5200K, but actually much warmer after reflected off canyon walls.
