Which digital projector: can anyone offer advice please?

If you have any advice, recommendations or can point me to a suitable review of projectors I’d be very grateful.

However, a very big family occasion is coming up in a month or so and I thought it would be great to resurrect the idea of my old slide shows, but using a data projector for the digital images. I’d love to get a projector to approach the quality of the Leica but I’ll be very surprised if that is possible for my budget (£1,000 max). However, I was hoping to get some advice on what might possibly approach the Pradovit from an IQ point of view for my budget.

I used to use my Pradovit P600 IR with a Super-Colorplan f2.5, 90 mm lens and an 8ft screen. Then I moved house, went digital and since then I haven’t been in a position to do any projection.
