HX50 - some thoughts and samples

Firstly, I'm still very happy with this camera.  You must accept the following if you are considering the HX50:

1. ISO 80 - no issue.  Its superb.  Casual pixel peeping is acceptable at 20MP.

2. Other than that, everything else should probably be denoised/resized

3. Either way, the photos still look excellent if viewed at full screen size, full pixel density (same as DPR's large view)  eg. my best view is when using Directory Opus file manager.  Windows Explorer doesnt look as good.  FastStone is good, but has a more magnified view.  Just use your favourite viewer.

Some minor pp in Lightroom to these shots.

I'm a bit disappointed that Olympus didnt throw their hat into the latest pocket superzooms.  I really like their IQ.

Anyway, some wide and 30x zoom shots.  I re-sized the zoom shots to 5MP due to noise issue. It was an overcast day, however.  It may perform better in sunny weather.
