The 603 is effectively two triggers in a single package, which is how it triggers both the shutter and the flash with one button press.  That's not what I'm asking about.  The 622 receiver has a socket that gets triggered by the transmitter.  What prevents me from attaching a cable from the PC-sync port on the receiver into my N3 shutter port on the camera and thereby using the 622 to trigger my shutter remotely?  When YN claims that the 622 can't trigger shutters, do they really just mean that they won't sell you a cable with the proper ends on it, or is there more to it than that?
