Samyang 35mm T1.5 AS UMC VDSLR, Sigma 30mm F/1.4 EX DC HSM or Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM?
I am having a tough time deciding between these three lens!
1. Samyang 35mm T1.5 AS UMC VDSLR
2. Sigma 30mm F/1.4 EX DC HSM
3. Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM
I want a low light prime lens that is in the $300-$500 price range because my current lens the Canon EF-S 15-85mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM is a really good piece of glass, but when it comes to indoors or night time it isn't too great. (On a side note I recently did order the Canon 430EX II flash pretty cheap, which could work well with the 15-85mm and eliminate the need for a low light photography lens and leave me to needing just low light video lens but I am not too sure yet).
Anyways I am mainly a video shooter so I would think the Samyang 35mm T1.5 AS UMC VDSLR is the way to go, but I also like to do party photos and night time shooting but the Samyang only has manual focus which is great for video but not so great for photos especially for party photos. So it then leads me to either the Canon 50mm f1.4 or the Sigma 30mm f1.4 but I don't know if the 50mm focal length is better or the 30mm since I use a crop sensor. So I just don't know which one is the best to go I am just so undecided I like them all :S What are your thoughts? I also shoot with a Canon EOS 7D.
Thanks a lot in advance!
