I have both these lenses, although I've not used them on the D600 (rather D300, D700, D7000, D5100).

If I had to keep only one lens, then it would be the 105VR, but that is because macro is my reason for owning a DSLR.

Unless you particularly want to work between 1:3.7 and 1:1 magnification, I very strongly suspect you will be better off with the much more versatile 70-200VR.  It is an excellent lens, in my opinion better than the 70-300 VR (which I also have).  Should you occasionally need to focus closer than the MFD, which is already quite close, then TC's, extension tubes, or close-up filters are available.
