40-150 or 75-300 Oly lens?
May 30, 2013

I'm planning a micro four thirds camera purchase before the end of summer, and will be deciding between the new JK Kodak S1 (only if it has IBIS) and the Olympus E-PL5.  I researched my previous bridge camera photo EXIF data for focal lengths, and found a significant number (about a third) of my telephoto shots fell in the equivalent 42-75mm lens gap between the kit 14-42 and the 75-300.  Of the remainder, almost all were at the far long end (216mm M43 equivalent on one bridge and 420mm on the other.)

My question:  How many of you would (or do) miss shots / crop extensively / become annoyed with the 14-42 and 75 (or 100) - 300 combination?
