Update from second class....

Well guys I got "butchered" in class... hehehe I took my pictures and kept my word not to do any post processing in Photoshop and they came out horrible. I took my pictures on a very sunny day at noon and had my camera set to ISO 200, F11/125, White Balance to Sunny. The sun was coming over my left shoulder onto my subject. My friend used my X700 film camera and shot along with me at the sames settings. Her pictures turned out awesome. They were VERY rich in color. Mine looked washed out and the white areas were "glowing". They were 10 shades brighter and faded looking. Does anyone have an idea on what I am doing wrong? Of course my instructer had a field day with my results

On a good note.. I have finally found an photography instructor at a local college (thanks to the forum poster for the idea) who is teaching a class on digital photography - Thank Goodness!!!
