No picture is perfect and even if you have shot a marvelous one, scope of improvement will always be there. Moreover, sometimes it’s simply impossible to capture perfect shots, especially for unplanned shots. In such cases, you have no other option to correct the flaws except the post production.

The level of post production techniques that you use is purely your choice and everything is ethical. You should be proud of using post production; there is nothing wrong in using it. In fact every industry has some kind of backup support and for photography, post production is your backup support. Use it whenever you need.
