Of course, but many weeding shooters will tell you that SRAW is a hugely practical when it comes to candids at the reception etc.  SRAW is not really a raw either, it's more of a TIFF that allows white balance manipulation.

I'd rather have Nikon's lossless compressed, which I use all the time, to Canon's sRAW.

Again, it depends on what your requirements are.  Losless compressed still produces a massive file and when you have to download 2000 of these and then PP them, it becomes impractical.
