I highly recommend you get over to the Toronto Islands and look back onto the Toronto skyline from there, as there is a lot more variety of shots than this. You have to take a ferry over there, but be warned the line-ups during peak times in the summer can be rather lengthy. Great place to spend a day though.

This shot is actually taken from the "mainland". It's taken from Polson Pier (Polson Street) in the Toronto docklands area. It's a bit of an industrial wasteland, but great for time-strapped photogs to capture the Toronto skyline without having to jump on a ferry.

Hope you enjoy your visit to TO. There are a lot of interesting sights if you do a bit of research ahead of time.
