No need to 'steal', use creative commons search ...

This has been an interesting thread. I've learned a lot from the various pointers and suggestions.

It's caused me to go back to my Flickr account and update licensing terms.  Unless the photos are personal, like friends and family, I've converted 'all rights reserved' to a Creative Commons license explicitly giving permission for use with attribution.  There should be no confusion, they can be used with attribution and with no additional permissions from me.  Just go ahead and use them, and attribute them to me.

The other nice thing is that you can search the web and/or specific sources for images with creative commons licensing. Just go to http://search.creativecommons.org/, type in the search term, indicate whether or not you're looking for commercial use, then click on the type of search you want to do.  For example, here's the result of searching google images for images of eagles

https://www.google.com/search?as_q=eagle&tbs=sur:fmc&biw=1400&bih=1214&sei=UqqbUfWBMcrtrQGR7YCQCQ&tbm=isch

These are are licensed and ready to go.
