A question on the SLRgear graphs.

Ok, I'm probably missing something obvious and I need to go to bed, however ....

Looking at the new 18-35mm nikkor results on SLRgear. They have the blur graphs for both the D7000 and the D800e

http://slrgear.com/reviews/showproduct.php/product/1587/cat/13/date/1362456779

The pixel pitch for both those cameras is very close indeed. Just that the D800 has more of them right? so surely, if you consider a cropped DX rectangle in the middle of the FX chart, that should be pretty much exactly the same blur values as looking at the D7000 chart.

But this isn't the case. The D7000 results seem MUCH better than the D800 ones.

Why?

Nikon D7000 Nikon D800 Nikon D800E
