One source I've found useful for the RX100 is Gary Friedman's book, as Sony's manual is so poor: http://friedmanarchives.com/RX100/

Something else that comes up regularly: don't use the camera in iAuto mode, as it makes strange decisions. Despite its small size, this is no P&S camera: it needs more thought and manual control than a NEX.

I would never, never in my life use iAuto, i shoot raw and M/A

Good, so you need to carefully customise the buttons and memories. Some people think that because it's so small, that it should also be simple, but it's not. It's a miniaturised big, complex camera. I always shoot RAW, too, normally in P, A or S modes.

I totally agree, the menues told me at once it was a advanced camera. Heck i knew it was advaneced when i bought it...  The Fn button is set up fine , i cant wait to get out ther eand shoot, i will post some photos here, you can expect something like this (look at my gallery) but withouth the ND filter(use it 80% of the time)

Photography for me is not about recreating what i saw through
the viewfinder but to show people the way i want to see the world
Cheers!
