One thing I like to look for when buying an old Minolta lens is the use by the previous owner. On 2 occasions I found owners through craigslist that bought a Minolta 7000 (first generation af film camera) and barely used the camera and lenses. I have both a beer can and a secret handshake that at the time I purchased them, they had no more than 200 pics taken with them. The lenses are practically new.
