I'm new to Sony and don't have that much experience with the lenses, but for several years I made my living doing newspaper photography, averaging about 3 or 4 sports assignments a week.

I agree with you that 135mm is not long enough for serious sports photography, even on cropped sensor. You need at least 200mm on a cropped camera (300 on full-frame) and longer is better.

The most important thing to look for is quick, accurate focusing. I can't say which of the lenses on your list wins out on that, but accurate focus fast enough to catch the moment is far more important than the small differences in image quality between modern lenses. Good tracking focus and predictive focus are also important.

Finally, the only long lens I own for Sony is the 70-210 beercan. I've made some nice pictures with it, but I can assure you it is NOT a sports lens.
