Lowest Powered laptop to run PS 5 in Windows or 5.5 in Mac?

Hi,

I am looking for a cheap, disposable laptop for a photo safari I am taking. Ideally I will have PS5 and/or Lightroom 3.5 on it.

I just need something cheap. I was looking at the Chromebooks and thinking of running my office subscription of CS6/Photoshop.com on it or Picasa if it won't but will that do for basic, and I mean very basic import and tweaking of images?

If I got a Chromebook, I would also purchase a 2TB 2.5" external drive to supplement the storage on it.

Does anyone have opinions of Chromebooks vs i3 vs AMD A6 or E series laptops? I, of course, will crank the ram of those machines up to the max.

I am doing all of this to avoid lugging my Asus G55VW laptop with the i7, 32GB ram, dual video cards, 2 -- 750GB hd's and one 240GB mSATA drive. Yea...it weighs about 10 lbs and does not easily fit into my camera backpack bag.

Ideas please? Anyone?
