About naming pictures

This may be some pretty far fetched notion... googling isn't turning out to be very helpful.

I wonder if there are either cameras with this ability built in or after market apps available that can name individual pics as you go along.

My A65 has the option to name folders and then put pics into them which is quite a ways toward what I'm thinking of. I like that option a lot.

So anyone heard of a camera that allows you to set the names as you go along.

Say when shooting friends or family you could do things like:

AlonzoPSharkey_beforeHeWentGoth-130507.jpg

GrandpaIchabodAtAge-92-130507.jpg  and on and on.

I find myself wishing I could do that nearly every time I break out the camera, at least for a few of the shots.

So is it just to impractical? Or maybe requires to much extra baggage like some kind of keyboard?
