No removal grip on E-P5 because Oly wants to charge for "Premium" model?

I've been surprised that not too many people have pointed out that the E-P5 doesn't look like it has a removable front grip--there's no screw visible.  Now, it appears that Oly is going to introduce a "premium" model with a wood finish on the grip:

So it seems that making the grip non-removal allows Oly to capture a higher total price for those who may want a wood finish grip.

If all this is true, and Oly is trading off a rather useful design element, with the removal grip, in order to create pricing steps based around finish trims, I am disappointed at their decision.
