Yes do get the 45 f1.8.  The intended use of that lens is for portraiture with limited depth of focus (or depth of field for the older generation), but it is handy for other things as well.  I frequently have to photograph guest lecturers and I use that lens and the EPL-5 body (quiet) to catch them as they speak.  Nothing interesting about some poor soul standing against a wall with a silly smirk on his/her face...better to catch the action.  It is light, fast and sharp.  "Drop" the cash.
