I know... but that defeats the purpose of ETTR.

Have to say, the DP2M has pretty good highlight headroom. But I just need a way to use the live histogram more effectively.

On my Pentax K-7, I followed the the UniWB way and made the JPEG histogram quite similar to the RAW one. I am just not sure if there is a preferred way to make the histogram more useful in the Merrill.
