Day out with 45mm

Wonderfully detailed lens  in my opinion.

But not sure the focal length is for me...

Constantly found myself wanting it to be wider, or allow focusing that little bit closer. I guess it's just that I am not one for portrait style photography, for whom this lens is more appropriate?
