Big price rise

Even if you upgraded Photoshop every time then the upgrade price worked out cheaper than the new one-program-only monthly price.  (Ignoring the reduced price one-year-only sop to existing users.)  Many of us used to upgrade only every two or three versions (until they banned that), so the subscription price works out much, much more expensive than the price we used to pay every 2 or 3 years.

I'm not making a how-dare-they comment, or bleating about Adobe letting down customers, it's just a personal value judgement (and budget) comment.  Before, Photoshop was an expensive luxury I could afford, now they've taken it out of my league (and, I suspect, out of the league of most amateur photographers).

And if they push Lightroom that way too - unless the montly price is about 1/3 of the one-product CS monthly price - then it's bye bye Adobe for me.
