Problem updating CS6
May 6, 2013

Hi Guys

I have probably done something stupid but wonder if someone can help me out.

I am running CS6 on my Macbook Pro (OS 10.8.3) and decided to run an update. Everything went fine until I fired up CS6 again. Now it appears that I have a trial version of CS6 Extended and I'm being asked for the product key. I've no idea how this happened, don't want CS6 Extended and want to get back to CS6 which i have obviously paid for.

Can I simply uninstall the extended version and re load my copy of CS6 or will this use up my "2nd machine" part of the licence. Is anyone able to explain how, when running the updates, I have managed to end up with an Extended version?

I haven't installed CS6 on my desktop yet as I have just replaced my old machine with a new iMac.

Any help gratefully received

Cheers

Paul
