Of course we all know what they are really focused on and that is making money.

They are all the same. Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Walmart, GM, etc.. All of the top focuses take a back seat to the last focus.. That's the way it has always been and that's the way it'll always be..

And if they aren't focused on making money, they can focus on sending out layoff slips when they go out of business, leaving employees without jobs and users with orphaned cameras.

Canon, Nikon etc. are not running social programs though many people seem to think they should be.
