If you are saying that the best PDAF cameras will beat the best CDAF in this area, I am ready to agree. But the gap is shrinking all the time and the latest generation of CDAF can stand a comparison with more ordinary DSLRs.

But it's not just a matter of fast autofocus - it's also a matter of a viewfinder that is bright and clear and real-time with no laggies or jaggies or freezes. Even the most basic DSLR has that advantage.

The impact of EVF lag can be reduced by using the higher update frequency on the E-M5, at least in good light. I don't recall ever seeing any jaggies or freezes.
