What is the sweet spot for Nikon D200, D300, D100, D90, D80 etc in terms of shutter counts? This question is asked a lot and is provided a lot where used cameras are posted on places like Ebay.

To me a lot depends on the price and on the general condition of the camera. Fifteen thousand clicks is not a lot of clicks however, when I bought my new-to-me used D300 last year I specifically wanted a very low click count - which I got: 5k clicks for a cost of GBP £500.

That was from a dealer and the camera came with a 14-day cooling off period and one year's dealer warranty. I probably would not buy from a private individual unless the price were exceptionally low.
