All do same. Nikon may give you an interferometer to pull a few Canon customers over but then disable commander mode from some models to move a few up.

I don't see the comparision between Apple/Microsoft to canon in the case of the missing intervalometer.  Canon needs to quit half-assing their product releases.

Microsoft leaves things out as does Apple to make a bit in the accessory market...so does Canon, so does Nikon. Folks seem to think the camera companies are run by photographers...they are nor
