This scene was not as demanding as Nikon sample above, but shows that in most high DR situations Canon cameras do pretty good. (5D2 was marginally worse and 6D was marginally better).

Yeah, Canon cameras can handle most normal high DR scenes well.  I'd even mount a flash and fill-flash in this particular scene  High DR scenes usually resulted crappy photos, surreal-look after processing, and usually ended in garbage bin anyway, just usually not in my taste.
