Some NEX users are seeking out older Stabilized Sigma in order to use them on their bodies because the Nex's do not have IBIS. Sigma are actually losing potential sales to NEX users by dropping IS from their Alpha fitting lenses.

Actually, I heard Sony engineers discuss ths recently.  The Nex body is too small and thin for IBIS stabilization.
