My 4 Year Rule
Just purchased an NX-20 after 4 years (well, maybe 3.5) of fun with an Olympus E-620. The wailing and lamentations I read on the Panasonic and M43 forums make me more committed than ever to keeping my 4 year discipline. The NX-20 may no longer be top of the line, but it's still a huge leap over my Olympus. It always amazes me how when a new camera is announced, people on these forums act as if their older cameras are instantly unusable. Maybe I don't have the disposable income that seems to be at hand with some people, but not having overwhelming gear lust makes for a more serene outlook.
