Canon 9500 II problem...
Apr 23, 2013

I just picked up a Canon 9500 II that was used as the demo printer at my local shop.  Not used much, they say...  I'm having a problem with the color, which is extremely red.  My monitor is calibrated correctly, I have a batch of test prints from Mpix Pro that look just like my monitor, if I print from my cheapie Canon MX410 all-in-one, I get something close to the Mpix print, so I know it's the printer.  The local shop basically just shrugged and said something to the effect of "I dunno."  I've run head alignment checks, nozzle cleanings and different papers through to no avail.  I've used Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss which closely matches the surface texture of the Mpix Pro prints for the tests, by the way. Anyone have any ideas what I can do to solve this problem?
