You should be using those programs anyway. If a problem can be fixed why would you not want to do so ?

Nearly all lenses have some correction issues & certainly nearly all have CA to some degree. There is not one image which comes out of any camera which cannot be improved by some post processing.

Some people are just pressed for time or just too lazy to learn & apply while others think , quite absurdly , that any image manipulation is 'cheating'
