Whatever you think  but just so you know your opinion does not manner to me. The Canon 18-200 is the most versatile lens on crop body AND it is light weight.

What do you think is better, a fixed focal length limiting 50 1.4, standard zoom, or a super zoom like the 18-200?

Let me guess, you care about lenses that are "ultra fast" vs lenses that have more utility such as the 18-200 IS.
