I use a monitor for most of my PC's, but for one I use a TV over a DVI to HDMI link, as that PC is dedicated as a media PC.

However, using that PC as a PC, rather than for Windows Media Center sucks, the 52" TV has horrible contrast for PC usage, the PC usage is awful over a TV, even with a high end TV.

It works great as my media center controller, I threw out my satelite box, VCR, DVR, DVD player, and hooked up everything to just this PC, and an amp connected over optical toslink.

Plus if you use a large TV at 1080P resolution, the pixels per inch would be extremely low for sitting close to the screen.
