Actually, i asked the question because i need a lens to shoot milkyway at aperatures f/1.8-f/2.0.

I currently own and love 14-24mm f/2.8 which does great with milkyway shots @ f/2/8 (pics here: http://500px.com/protik). However, I want to try out shooting milkyway at f/1.4-f/2.0. I guess, the use of aperatures wider than f/2.8 will be necessary to cut down exposure time (and prevent startrails) when 24mm-35mm focal length is used. Currently,  I am debating between sigma 35mm 1.4 and nikon 28mm 1.8 for milyway "close-up" shots. I am well aware of the fact that both lens are very sharp when stopped down and parhaps great wide open too. So, at this point, the one which has less coma at the widest aperature will get my money.
