Minimum Requirement for Final Cut Pro X- Enough?
Apr 19, 2013

Apple States the Minimum Requirments are -

  • Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor or better.
  • 2GB of RAM (4GB of RAM recommended).
  • OpenCL-capable graphics card orIntel HD Graphics 3000 or later.
  • 256MB of VRAM (512MB of VRAM recommended).
Is this really going to be enough to edit multi-cam HD projects?  I've got a Mid 2009 13" MBP that has been my go to machine for photo editing. Quick specs are 2.23 GHz, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD. It runs Photoshop, LR and iMovie well enough but I feel like it's not going to be enough for Final Cut Pro. Am I right?
