Evening walk with the Nokton and Monochrom

Blossoms at Sunset

"Mandelbrot set in Nature"

Cosina/Voigtlander 50/1.5 Asph with Orange (O56) filter, at  F1.5 on the Monochrom

From this evenings walk at sunset. Wanted to try the "modern lens" on the new camera.

The Dogwood branches and blossoms reminded me of some "scientific visualization" work done 30 years ago, playing with the "Mandelbrot Set"- a favorite in Chaos theory. Four years ago- I noticed the fractal image was gracing the cover of my Daughter's Math text book. Had to tell the teacher that Chaos was the theme for her Math class.
