The D800 is absolutely amazing for landscapes.  And it gives surfaces with a silky smooth sheen.  It's gotten to the point where I'll see a landscape shot that is extremely well composed and exposed, but I'm left thinking how much better it would have looked if the same shot had been taken with a D800.
