I posted  these images to illustrate my frustration at not getting rich, full blacks when I shoot products with Nikon speedlights. On the camera using a bounce reflector. Using multiple off-camera lights in softboxes.

I keep dialing down the power of the flash, setting negative exposure compensation, changing flash mode from M, to TTl, to AA. Changing sync speed and shutter speed. What is the best formula for this kind of work?
