Hence the importance of the print to me (and a "stood back" viewing position).  But, yes, as you say, if panning and zooming around an electronic image is what one wants to do, the more resolution the better.

Hmmm ... maybe its been linked to earlier in this forum. Or maybe it was in Pentax, I dont remember.
