That's not motion blur. Either the AF isn't doing a good job or the lens is very soft. The HS50's images are distinctly inferior to those of the other two cameras in this comparison.

Whichever is the reason, I would exclude the HS50 in this test or redo it properly.

He's testing the three cameras he has to decide which one to keep for his intended purposes - which does not apparently include a tripod nor turning off IS.  Are you suggesting they send the HS50 back already?  From what I've seen (and not just in this thread), I would.  So much potential...

No I am suggesting to do the proper testing (as much as possible). I would shoot the HS50 at 600mm too since he considered that FL for his purposes. Handholding 1000mm EFL is not easy for those with shaky and old hands.
